Two partner promotions at Michelmores, and a new managing partner from May 1st
Michelmores has announced the promotions of Paul Beanland, Senior Associate in the Real Estate team, and Tom Stenner-Evans, Senior Associate in the Employment team, who have both been made partner at the firm.
Paul joined Michelmores in March 2015 and relocated to Bristol in October 2017. He now works between its Bristol and London offices and acts for a broad range of clients, including institutional funds, developers, private investors and corporate tenants.
He has extensive experience of all aspects of commercial property work, with a particular focus on acquisitions and disposals of investment properties, commercial and mixed-use development projects, pre-lets and Landlord and Tenant work.
Tom joined Michelmores in 2007, and qualified in 2009. He specialises in employment law and divides his time between the Firm’s Exeter and London offices. Tom is experienced in a range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, and has particular expertise in acting for local authorities and schools. He has represented clients in both the Employment Tribunal and County Court and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

The following ten lawyers have also been promoted to become Senior Associates: Harriet Chopra, Alice Daniels, Josie Edwards, James Frampton, Bethan Jones, Caroline Lavis, Fiona Pearson, Sarah Philips, Edwin Richards, Harry Trick.
New Managing Partner
Also, from 1 May, Tim Richards will take over the role of Managing Partner from Malcolm Dickinson. Tim has been the head of the Commercial Dispute Resolution team for 15 years and also chairs the Executive Board. Tim has significant experience in handling a wide range of commercial disputes and has a reputation of being a hugely accomplished litigator.
