Exeter businesses are invited to exhibit at the city’s next jobs fair on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, for the opportunity to connect with hundreds of high-quality prospective candidates. Exeter and Heart of Devon Authorities Highlighted as ‘Exemplar’ in National Awards

The Exeter and Heart of Devon (EHOD) council partnership has been awarded the accolade of ‘Most Innovative Strategy’ in a national awards programme run by Institute of Economic Development (IED). Representatives from Exeter City, East Devon, Mid Devon and Teignbridge councils launched the 2017-2020 Shared Economic Strategy last year, with the collaborative approach to working already proving effective. An international trade event has been held in Exeter to demonstrate the city’s world class facilities and thriving economy to potential customers worldwide. More than 30 Exeter firms joined representatives from the Department of International Trade (DIT) and Exeter City Council to discuss the potential for new markets post-Brexit. New Water Service Provider Set To Make A Splash In The South West

An Exeter College alumnus has launched an independent water retail business for the non-household market, thought to be the first based in the South West since deregulation of the market in April 2017. Tor Water is a new water retailer for businesses, looking to provide smart water services that will yield a more competitive and efficient service, whilst also supporting community and charity initiatives in the region.
