Award Success For the Brilliant Bear Trail
MUDDY obstacle course, The Bear Trail, which has only been open for just over a year, has made it through to the finals of a prestigious tourism award.
The family attraction, which is based between Exeter and Cullompton, has made it to the top three in the ‘small attraction of the year’ category of the Devon Tourism Awards. The trail is up against Quince Honey Farm and Plymouth Gin in the awards.
Owner Ben Jordan said:
“This is a real honour for us; to have made it to the finals just over a year after we opened is incredible. It is a real testament to the hard work of the team here at The Bear Trail and of course, to all our amazing customers. This award is a great opportunity to publicly thank both our dedicated staff and our customers for all their support.”
“At the Bear Trail we believe in good old-fashioned fun. We love to see families out on the course enjoying time with each other, getting away from screens and generally enjoying being outside together.”
“We’ve also got big plans for the winter, we’ll be closing from the beginning of December until February half term to build some great new obstacles and make it even bigger and better.”
The awards are judged by an independent panel of past winners, industry leaders and experts in their field, selected for their impartiality, experience and suitability for each category.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Plymouth at the end of November.
